Writer's Block

"I refuse to begin this story with a pronoun," he said to himself as he sat down to write. For several minutes, the pen hovered uncertainly above the blank page. Finally, it made contact with the page. He sighed heavily as he wrote the following words: "He promised himself he wouldn't begin with a pronoun."
